Data controller and contact
Obilan, identified in the legal notice, is the controller for the processing described here. Your privacy contact is Thomas Teniere at web@obilan.fr. No separate data protection officer has been appointed.
Your enquiries
The form collects your name, email address, company if provided, subject and message. Required fields are needed to handle your enquiry; the form cannot be sent without them. We use this information to reply and prepare requested services: pre-contractual steps if you intend to contract personally, or Obilan’s legitimate interest in responding to business contacts and other enquiries.
Recipients and providers
Thomas Teniere is the only person authorised to read enquiries and administer the website. The form sends your enquiry to Obilan’s server in France and then to its Proton Mail business mailbox. Messages are not added to a website database. Email is provided by Proton AG, Route de la Galaise 32, 1228 Plan-les-Ouates, Geneva, Switzerland. According to its policy, messages are stored in Switzerland, Germany or Norway. Switzerland benefits from a European Commission adequacy decision; the other two countries are in the European Economic Area. Contact form data is not sent to Stripe.
Enquiry retention
Enquiries that do not lead to services are kept for no more than 12 months after the last exchange and then deleted. If services are agreed, data needed to perform them and meet legal obligations is retained separately for the applicable periods, including for invoicing or legal claims.
Security and technical logs
IP addresses, dates, requested paths and request results may be processed to secure the website and diagnose incidents, based on Obilan’s legitimate interest. Logs containing personal data are kept for no more than 30 days, except for limited extracts needed to investigate an incident or defend legal claims, for a period justified by that purpose. Backup copies containing this data are rotated within 30 days.
Service messages and commercial announcements
Submitting an enquiry does not add you to a marketing list. Messages needed to support a service remain separate from promotions for other offers. This website does not currently collect subscriptions to new-product announcements. Dedicated information and preferences will be provided before introducing that feature.
Cookies and automated decisions
The website uses no targeted advertising or audience analytics. Fonts and images are served locally. The strictly necessary __Host-obilan-session cookie is used for account or administration sign-in; it expires after 7 days or is removed on sign-out. Anti-abuse protections may reject a request; no marketing profiling or decisions with legal effects are performed.
Exercising your rights
You may contact web@obilan.fr to request access, correction or deletion of your data, restriction of processing and, where applicable, portability. Depending on your situation, you may object to processing based on legitimate interests, and you may object to any direct marketing. You may also lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, CNIL, at cnil.fr. Obilan normally replies within one month; a reasoned extension may be needed in cases allowed by the GDPR.
